• In early 1993 I was excited and honored to participate in a group show at the Drawing center. I wanted to showcase the breadth of work of the past year. The hanging and edit were important to me, and the work together presented questions around identity, gender, connection and meaning. All work are graphite on paper, or gouache and marker on paper.

“Take my hand and I’ll show you some drawings. Look, a few scenes from the artist’s life, some pink floppy faces, something abstract, a man smiling in a suite, a young boy with a bow in his hair, a man in striped pants selling spaghetti.”
